Phase II: Assessing Smoking Cessation Services in Central and Northern California HIV Safety Nets

January 17, 2024

This publication is phase II of an audit or “secret shopper” study that sought to characterize current access to smoking cessation services in Central and Northern California HIV safety nets and to identify potential strategies for increasing access. Phase I assessed cessation services in Southern California HIV safety nets. Findings from Phase I and Phase II indicate that people living with HIV who smoke face barriers accessing cessation services in California HIV safety nets.
