People Living with HIV

Dr. Allegra Gordon will offer a conceptual model for understanding gender expression and health and illustrate this model with examples from recent research on gender nonconformity, school-based violence and bullying, and selected health outcomes in samples of U.S. high school students and young adults. Lunch will be provided.

Presented by Dr. Arleen Leibowitz, this seminar will cover basic understanding of policy and how a policy continuum framework can help shape HIV-related policy research.

Presented by Craig Pulsipher (APLA Health) and Aaron Fox (LA LGBT Center), this seminar will cover policy research and its use in HIV-related state and federal legislative contests.

This seminar, presented by Dr. Ian Holloway, will cover basic social science research methodology used to shape HIV-related policy research with real-world relevance.
